Discussion on the influence of sand blasting technology on the three-layer structural anticorrosive coating of submarine pipeline joints
At present, most of China's offshore oil and gas transportation relies on pipeline conveyance. The quality of anti-corrosion at the pipeline nodes directly affects the service life of the pipelines. The construction of anti-corrosion coatings at nodes addresses the anti-corrosion work following on-site welding. However, due to the constraints of on-site construction conditions, the anti-corrosion performance of the nodes often faces issues.Among these, the surface treatment of the base material is an essential step in coating application, determining the adhesion between the coating and the base material,as well as key properties such as resistance to cathodic disbondment. This text focuses on analyzing the impact of sandblasting technology on the surface quality of metal at the nodes of subsea pipelines.
