The fault system of Bohai L Oilfield is complex,and fault sealing is the foundation for safe and efficient development.This article qualitatively evaluates the shear activation and tensile activation of faults using Sliding Trends and Expansion Trends,quantifies the mud content within the fault zone using the Fault Shale Gouge Ratio(SGR),and characterizes the lateral sealing ability of faults using the relationship between fault pressure difference and SGR in different blocks,thereby achieving quantitative evaluation of fault sealing.The results indicate that all faults in the study area are in a stable state,but some faults have low lateral sealing,while strike slip faults exhibit lateral non sealing phenomena.
