Diagenetic Characteristics of the Maokou Formation in the Longnüsi Area,Central Sichuan
In recent years,multiple wells drilled in the Maokou Formation's dolomite reservoirs within the Longnüsi area of central Sichuan have yielded substantial industrial gas flows,highlighting the promising exploration and development prospects of the Maokou Formation in this region.Based on observations of cores and thin sections,the diagenetic types of the Maokou Formation in the study area are classified into seven categories,with dolomitization,dissolution,and fracturing identified as constructive diagenetic processes that favor reservoir formation.Combining this with previous research on the tectonic evolution of the Maokou Formation in the study area,the diagenetic pore evolution sequence of carbonate reservoirs in the study area is divided into an early diagenetic stage and a mid-late diagenetic stage.
