Research and practice on reservoir protection during deep well repair operations in Kenli Oilfield
With the development and exploitation of the Bohai Oilfield, the contribution of medium and deep reservoirs to production capacity is gradually increasing.Currently, the main oil fields in the medium and deep layers of the Bohai Oilfield mainly involve the Kenli A Oilfield and the Bozhong Oilfield.Taking the Kenli A Oilfield as an example, the typical medium and deep oil field, the main reservoir is the Shahejie Formation, with a deep burial depth and mainly medium to low permeability. The crude oil properties are medium to light oil, with high wax content, high clay mineral content, high reservoir temperature, and high risk of reservoir damage during production and operation.Since its commissioning, the recovery rate of oil production and the proportion of oil production recovery wells in mid to deep oil wells have been decreasing year by year.More than 86%of oil wells have experienced an increase in water content after well repair operations, with an average increase of over 20%.The total liquid production of oil wells can recover after operation, but the problem of low recovery rate and high water content has become increasingly prominent, seriously restricting the stable production and development of oil fields. In order to solve the problem of significant reduction in production capacity after oil well operations in mid to deep oil fields,it is urgent to conduct research on reservoir damage mechanisms and reservoir protection technology strategies at different production stages of the oilfield, guide the upgrading of well repair fluid systems and the application of physical leak prevention processes, and improve production capacity recovery and oilfield development effects.
