Study on the spatial paradigm of water environment in the Zhangqiu Ancient Town along the grand canal based on ecological resilience
The ancient towns along the Grand Canal mainly refer to the large-scale commercial town settlements located along the Grand Canal, which have important historical and cultural value and are relatively well preserved, relying on the development of water and commercial transportation along the canal channel. The water environment space is an important component of the ancient town space along the Lu Canal.Unlike water towns with dense water networks, the water environment space of ancient towns along the Canal is a complex water network structure formed by the connection and intersection of artificial and natural rivers. At the same time,it has strong correlation with the Wangtang and water channels in the settlement space, and the water environment space has certain particularity and complexity. At present, the development of water environment space in ancient towns along the canal mainly faces two problems:firstly, the development of water environment space in ancient towns along the canal faces fragmentation and break point like development problems;Secondly, there is a serious disconnect between the spatial development of ancient towns along the canal and the spatial development of water environment, and the fragility of ecological space is evident. In recent years, ecological resilience has gradually become the core goal of sustainable spatial development.Research on resilience space both domestically and internationally has mainly focused on social, cultural, and environmental systems, including ecological resilience, infrastructure resilience, institutional resilience, economic resilience, and social resilience. The space of ancient towns along the canal is an important material carrier for the inheritance and development of canal culture.Exploring the water environment spatial paradigm of ancient towns along the canal responds to the policies of canal space protection and development,as well as the national rural revitalization strategy,in order to promote green and sustainable development of ancient town space along the canal and reshape the vitality of canal space.Zhangqiu Ancient Town is located in the southeast of Yanggu County,Liaocheng City. The ancient town flows through rivers such as the canal and moat. The town relies on natural water environment resources such as rivers and lakes to form rich canal water environment resources.Among them, the Wangtang, water channel, and water alley together constitute the ecological patch of the artificial water environment in the ancient town. This article takes the ancient town of Zhangqiu along the Grand Canal as a typical research object, introduces the concept of ecological resilience development into the field of architecture, starts from the perspective of ecological resilience, based on the historical overview, current situation analysis, and analysis of ecological spatial interference factors of the ancient town, constructs a research framework for the water environment space of Zhangqiu ancient town, selects spatial ecological evaluation factors to analyze the ecological spatial sensitivity of the ancient town, and constructs a water environment ecological spatial security network,So as to study the spatial paradigm of water environment in ancient towns. The analysis shows that:(1)The highly sensitive spatial areas of Zhangqiu Ancient Town are mainly distributed on the water surface of the small canal and along the canal, small areas of ponds, and landscape green belt spaces with high water network density, showing mainly strip and block distribution characteristics. The medium and low sensitive areas are mainly distributed in the internal space enclosed by canals and small canals,as well as in the construction land space relatively far from the water environment of the canals, showing a scattered distribution feature in some parts;(2)Based on ecological sensitivity analysis and referring to the research framework of ecological resilience in water environment space, key nodes in ecological space are identified, ecological space modules are selected, and ecological space corridors are constructed.A comprehensive water environment ecological space security network of"node-module-corridor"is constructed in Zhangqiu Ancient Town;(3)Based on the water environment ecological space security network,a four-dimensional paradigm of water environment space in Zhangqiu Ancient Town along the canal is proposed under the guidance of"water security water technology water runoff water management",including water network and channel space, flood control, flood diversion space, base underlying surface and water environment spatial circulation, dynamic emergency and dynamic monitoring, control zoning and hierarchical control mechanism.Exploring the spatial paradigm of water environment in ancient towns along the canal through sensitivity to water environment can actively promote the spatial protection and rational construction of ancient towns along the canal, create healthy and green ancient towns along the canal, and better promote the sustainable development of the space in ancient towns along the canal.
