Research on the Development of Silver Economy under the International Perspective
The deepening trend of population aging and the increasing demand for specific products and services among the elderly present both challenges and opportunities for innovative development in the silver economy.It discussed the issue of silver economy development from an international perspective,clarified the main stages of the evolution of Japan's silver economy,and focused on its governmental strategic initiatives and their roles;combined with the analysis of the changes in the development of the silver economy in Europe and the United States,the evolution of the silver economy in foreign countries is summarized into the mentality change from social pressure to economic dynamism,the step change from development of a few contents to development of multiple contents,the morphological change from physical adjustment to digital and intellectual integration,and the modal change from compartmentalization to sectoral synergy.Explored the problems in the development of China's silver economy from the demand side,the supply side,and the policy support.Based on the national situation of the silver economy and drawing on foreign experience,it put forward path suggestions to promote the healthy,orderly,and comprehensive development of China's silver economy by ensuring the economic security of the elderly,developing distinctive products tailored to the elderly,advancing the construction of elderly-friendly service systems,and improving policies to support the silver industry.
