Data center is a key infrastructure for storing,processing and transmitting a large amount of data,a strategic resource to support future economic and social development,and it is a major energy consumer in the field of new infrastructure.With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,cloud computing,big data analy-sis,and the Internet of Things(IoT),the demand for data centers is growing,and so is the requirement for com-puting power.In the face of increasingly tightening resource and environmental constraints,how to deeply pro-mote the development of data centers with high quality and low energy consumption has become an issue that needs to be explored and solved urgently at present.It mainly analyzes how to promote the low-energy con-sumption and high-quality development of data centers from the aspects of the necessity of data center energy saving,problems and energy saving measures,so as to provide references for the subsequent energy saving work of data centers.
