Systematic Upgrading Practice of Old Compressed Air Stations
Objective for the old compressed air station energy saving upgrading and transformation.The methodology includes the application of energy saving and high efficiency variable frequency air compressor to adapt to variable flow rate use,the application of high efficiency energy saving purifica-tion equipment,the application of automation control technology as well as the adoption of IOT Internet of Things(IOT)technology,and the adoption of on-demand supply technology,which resulted in achieving all the preset goals,saving 3.358 million kWh of electricity per year,converting 412 t of stan-dard coal,and reducing CO2 emissions by 2,964 t.This reduces energy costs,enhances the security of supply,improves the quality of air supply,and decreases CO2 emissions.It also improves the quality of gas supply,reduces management difficulty,enhances management efficiency,and saves management costs.The transformed station is certified by an authoritative third party as a first-class energy-efficient air compressor station.The transformation and upgrading practice of old air compressors should start from the actual situation,fully consider various constraints and assumptions as well as risk factors,comprehensively analyze the multiple influences of variables in the compressed air system from a sys-tem perspective,and quantitatively collect and analyze the core energy consumption parameters be-fore the transformation before setting up the achievable transformation goals,formulating the most ap-propriate technical solutions,and implementing installation and construction solutions that can be im-plemented on the ground as well as conforming to the standard rules and regulations.Develop and monitor the most suitable technical program,the installation and construction program that can be im-plemented on the ground,and the acceptance program that meets the requirements of standard speci-fications.
