Research on the Trade Competitiveness and Export Growth Effect of Agricultural Products between China and Kazakhstan under the Background of"the Belt and Road"
2023 is the tenth anniversary of"the Belt and Road".As significant trading partners along the Silk Road Economic Belt, the research on the competitiveness and export growth effects of agricultural trade be-tween China and Kazakhstan is of great practical significance for the future cross regional economic and trade cooperation in the field of agriculture between China and Kazakhstan, and for promoting the common develop-ment of the two countries.By analyzing the competitiveness and export growth effects of agricultural product trade between China and Kazakhstan,it can be concluded that China as a whole and the four major categories of agricultural products have weak competitive advantages;China and Kazakhstan have strong complementary advantages in non edible raw materials, food, and live animals;Kazakhstan has a strong comparative advan-tage in non edible raw materials among the four major categories of agricultural products; The growth effect of exports from China to Kazakhstan is mainly positively influenced by the competition effects of industrial struc-ture and price in the early stage, and mainly positively influenced by the market demand effect in the later stage.Based on the above analysis results,it is proposed that China and Kazakhstan should strengthen coop-eration in"core industries,""key industries,"and"auxiliary industries"for future agricultural products, carry out cross regional investment, and explore the connection between China's rural revitalization strategy and Ka-zakhstan's agricultural integration.
