Under the background of"Double Carbon",the development of green buildings faces the new chal-lenge of achieving"dual control over both energy consumption and carbon emissions".The existing building carbon emission calculation method does not include consideration of the carbon emissions from the produc-tion of the equipment used in the building, especially the life cycle carbon emissions of renewable energy sys-tem equipment products such as photovoltaic modules. In response to this situation, the study takes a public building as a case, combines the carbon emission values of photovoltaic modules at each stage to calculate the carbon emissions of the building throughout the cycle, and analyzes the carbon emission intensity of each stage of the building. The calculation results show that the carbon emissions from the photovoltaic component production stage account for 11.7%of the carbon emissions from the project building materials production stage, and the total carbon emissions from the photovoltaic component production and transportation stage are 325.73 tCO2e,accounting for the photovoltaic module's operating period during the building life.Offset carbon emissions 11.8%.If the carbon emissions from the production stage and transportation of photovoltaic system products are ignored,it will lead to an overestimation of the carbon emission reduction effect of the entire life cycle of the building.Subsequently, consideration can be given to including the carbon emission during the life cycle of the building carbon emission. In order to enhance cross-industry synergy around construction and pro-mote the formation of carbon emission reduction synergy from an industry-wide perspective.
