Application Progress of Magne-sium-Based Solid State Hydrogen Storage Technology in Hydrogen Re-fueling Stations
Due to the uneven distribution of hydrogen production resources in various places,the stor-age and transportation of hydrogen restrict the development of the industrial chain.Magnesium-based solid state hydrogen storage technology has the advantages of high hydrogen storage capacity,high safety,and low cost,and is an important development direction for hydrogen storage methods in hydro-gen refueling stations in the future.However,there are still some technical bottlenecks in practical ap-plications of this technology,including reaction rate,cycle stability and cost issues.Through a detailed discussion on the application of magnesium-based solid hydrogen storage technology in hydrogen re-fueling stations,the technical characteristics,process flow,heat exchange methods,application sce-narios and current status of magnesium-based solid hydrogen storage system in hydrogen refueling stations are analyzed.Magnesium-based solid state hydrogen storage technology has broad applica-tion prospects in hydrogen refueling stations and is expected to become an important supporting tech-nology for building a hydrogen energy society.Through technological research,system optimization and policy support,it will play a more important role in the future energy system.
