Research Trends on Sulfate Corrosion Resistance of Con-crete in Complex Environments
In a multi-factor coupled environment, concrete is damaged by sulfate attack. It mainly summarizes the forms of corrosion damage, sulfate corrosion research theory and sulfate erosion methods. There are two failure forms of sulfate corrosion on concrete:physical corrosion and chemical corrosion.Physical corrosion re-search theories include solid phase volume change theory, salt crystallization hypothesis, hydration pressure theory, etc.Chemical corrosion can be divided into gypsum type sulfate erosion, ettringite type sulfate erosion, magnesium sulfate erosion, and multi-ion sulfate erosion. At present,a large number of experimental research work has been carried out at home and abroad on the resistance of concrete to sulfate corrosion under com-plex environmental factors.Research on the resistance of concrete to sulfate erosion in complex environments is a systematic and comprehensive topic, which requires multi-disciplinary collaboration and comprehensive use of various technical means to achieve more significant results.
