Research on the Influencing Factors of Carbon Emissions in Manufacturing Industry from the Perspective of Pro-duction Factors Intensive Classification
The impact of carbon emissions generated by China's manufacturing industry on the environment cannot be ignored.Based on this, the manufacturing industry is divided into labor-intensive industries,capi-tal-intensive industries and technology-intensive industries according to factor intensity.LMDI decomposition technology is used to factor the cumulative effect of carbon emissions of three types of industries between vari-ous years from 2009 to 2021.The results show that the total effect of capital-intensive industries is the largest. The energy intensity effect, energy structure effect and employment scale effect all have negative effects on the carbon emissions of capital-intensive industries and labor-intensive industries, while the industry output ef-fect is positive. In technology-intensive industries, only the energy structure has a negative effect, while the other factors have a positive effect. In terms of the change trends and magnitudes of various influencing fac-tors,none of the four types of factors in capital-intensive industries and labor-intensive industries show a linear change trend, and the year-on-year changes are relatively large, while the change trends of technology-inten-sive industries show a linear change and the change range is relatively stable. Therefore, optimizing the energy structure, adjusting the staffing of the industry, improving technological levels, and promoting industrial transfor-mation and upgrading are favorable countermeasures to promote carbon reduction and emission reduction in the manufacturing industry.
