Study on Friction-Wear Resistance of Vacuum Hot-Rolled 316L Steel/Q355 Steel and 304L Steel/Q355 Steel Clad Plates
Friction-wear resistance of vacuum hot-rolled 316L steel/Q355 steel and 304L steel/Q355 steel clad plates was investigated via friction-wear tests which were performed under the simulated actual production conditions. The results showed that(a)after friction-wear testing for 60 min at the same test parameters, the 304L steel/Q355 steel clad plate exhibited mass loss of 132.7 g,and the 316L steel/Q355 steel clad plate exhibited mass loss of 115.2 g,that is,the latter was superior to the former in wear resistance;(b)the average dislocation densities were 4.19 × 10 14 m-2 in 304L steel/Q355 steel clad plate, and 5.23×10 14 m-2 in 316L steel/Q355 steel clade plate after friction-wear testing;and(c)the volume fraction of martensite formed during the friction-wear testing was 2.1%in 304L steel/Q355 steel clad plate and 3.0%in 316L steel/Q355 steel clade plate.
