Construction Strategies of Higher Education Quality Evaluation System in China from the Meta-evaluation Perspective
Through literature analysis,the following findings have been identified.There is a fluctuating increase in attention of meta-evaluation research on the quality of higher education,but the overall quantity of publications is not high.The academic community is in the early stage of formation,however,the stability and sustainability of academic cooperation network are not strong.Research hotspots closely align with national policies,and value orientation has shifted from scientification and quantification towards human-centered approaches,quality improvement and diversification.However,the integration and mutual promotion between research results and reform practices need to be strengthened.These issues can be addressed by establishing a"meta-evaluation"charter to provide institutional support,refining procedures and mechanisms based on educational reform goals,and developing meta-evaluation culture,so as to accelerate the construction of higher education quality evaluation system with Chinese characteristics.
