Research on Teaching Quality Management Mechanism of University Teachers in Taiwan Based on Students'Teaching Evaluation Results
That teaching quality is evaluated by students has become a common way in universites.It is important for universities to utilize the evaluation results,particularly these poor evaluations,to improve the teaching effects.An analysis of the methods for implementing teaching evaluations and tracking guidance from 23 universities in Taiwan reveals that each university is dedicated to fully capturing the teaching performance of teachers,considering the perspectives of those with low evaluation scores,and safeguarding the privacy of all parties involved.The universities aim to identify problems and solutions in teachers'evaluation results from various angles,and to combine flexible guidance with a strict punishment mechanism.These approaches are worth considering and using as a reference.
