Authentic Assessment under the Background of Work-integrated Learning:The Strategies and Enlightenment from University of Liverpool
Authentic assessment,as a tool of work-integrated learning,should be valued and applied to higher education.This article takes University of Liverpool as an example to discuss the strategies of implementing authentic assessment.The approaches are designing authentic tasks,conducting teamwork,executing evaluative judgment,inviting external entities,and providing resources.Chinese universities can introduce authentic assessment through ensuring the continuities between assessment and work-integrated learning,inviting multiple assessment subjects,providing processive support,and organizing interdisciplinary assessments.
