Reform and Implications of High-quality Initial Teacher Education System in Australia
Based on Next Steps:Report of the Quality Initial Teacher Education Review released in Australia,this study discusses the key reform strategies of high-quality initial teacher education system,namely selecting high-quality talents,improving teaching quality,and supporting novice teachers.Furthermore,this study puts forward implications for the construction of China's teacher education system,which include reforming the enrollment system to focus on the examination of students'character,optimizing the teaching content to improve the urbanization of teacher education,strictly enforcing the entry requirements of the teachers to implement the teacher qualification system of"education before examination",and building an integrated mode of pre-service and post-service training for teachers so as to promote teachers'professional development.
