The Evolution and Enlightment of the Excellence in Assessment in USA
The Excellence in Assessment(EIA)is the first national initiative of USA for higher education institutions.The EIA is a kind of systematic evaluation based on internal accountability and also meta-evaluation for demonstration and publication,which opens to all registered higher education institutions.The EIA provides a useful reference and enlightenment for China to deepen the reform of higher education evaluation in the new era,including reshaping the role position of national education evaluation institution,exploring an open education evaluation mode as well as promoting the construction of internal quality assurance capabilities in universities.
