How to Conduct the Moral Assessment for Postgraduate Entrance Re-examination
A student taking postgraduate entrance examination was refused by both the applied and adjusted universities for he was allegedly involved in a cat-abuse incident. It has sparked widespread public attention on the moral assessment for postgraduate entrance re-examination.This paper points out that universities have the autonomy in postgraduate entrance re-examinations.Moreover,since the moral assessment has the"one-vote veto"role in the postgraduate entrance re-examination,more clearer moral assessment standards shall be formulated to clarify the boundary between the supervision of public opinion and autonomous running of universities,so as to facilitate universities to conduct moral assessment with openness and transparency, and to educate and warn students to value their own moral character.
