Supervision of Preschool Education in England:Historical Evolution,Main Characteristics,and Enlightenment
Education supervision plays an irreplaceable role in regulating kindergarten management behavior and improving the quality of preschool education.England is one of the earliest countries in the world to conduct education supervision of preschool education,the supervision has gone through three stages:two-level supervision,decentralized supervision dominated by the central government,and unified supervision dominated by the central government.It presents the following three characteristics:taking the needs and development of preschool children as the core pursuit;the supervision process is clear and standardized,emphasizing multidimensional and mutual verification;the basic purpose is to promote the improvement and enhancement of the quality of preschool education institutions.This provides useful insights for optimizing and improving the education supervision system of preschool education in China.
