The Rewriting of Translation History:Justifications and Approaches
Since the 21stcentury,translation history has become a focus of translation studies and made great achievements while ex-posing quite a lot of problems.Thereafter here emerge many calls for rewriting of translation history in the academic field of Chinese Translation Studies.The paper holds that the rewriting of translation history is to rectify the misconducts in studies of translation histo-ry,therefore is an active response to current contexts of translation studies shaped by the change of times and paradigm shift.The re-searchers are supposed to rethink their ideas in translation history,extend their research territory and go deep into the traditional topics to dig out the possibilities brought out by translation in history.
