Studies on Canonization of Translation in China:Review and Prospect
Based on the review of studies on translation canonization over the past twenty years in China,this paper finds that the re-search has achieved fruitful results.However,there are also many problems.In response to these problems,it is proposed that:1)Future research should include translation in non-literary fields,such as philosophy,politics,and religion;2)The canonization of Chinese culture in translation deserves more attention,especially the translation of modern and contemporary Chinese literature,ethnic minority classics,and the canonization of Chinese culture in non-English speaking countries;3)There should be more diverse approa-ches to study the canonization of translation.
