Politics in Space:Towards a New Conceptual Revolution——A Study on Lefebvre's Space and Politics
Lefebvre's analysis of the spatiality of society is based on a specific"totality of social practices",the core of which is the complex spatial intertwining of everyday life on top of urbanisation. In essence, the invisible production of social space is to ensure the reproduction of relations of production, which,of course, mainly refers to the spatial production of dominant relations of production. If the grand strcutures of modes of production, such as economics, politics and legal system, are a teleological construct that is relatively distant from our lives, the reproduction of relations of production in spatial production refers to the proximal construct that pervades our everyday lives.
