The Logic of China's Growth Prospects from the Perspective of International Political Economy
China's growth is a major landmark event of today's era.This incident has profound political and economic connotations,reflecting the deep connection between China and the world.To understand China's growth,we need to examine it within the context of the evolution of Chinese-style modernization and explore its inherent attributes,key driving forces,and guiding concepts.Growth relies on and serves Chinese-style modernization.The driving force for growth lies mainly at the political and economic level,not just at the economic level.Behind growth lies a new overall and systematic development concept.For the world,the significance of China's growth is mainly reflected on three levels:rules,benefits from exchanges,and values.On the level of rules,China's growth means that its running-in with developed countries on international rules will become clearer,and the development space of the Global South will tend to expand.In terms of benefits from exchanges,the trend of parallel competition and cooperation between China and the West is likely to continue,while the interdependence between China and developing countries will become more long-term,reciprocal and resilient.At the level of values,influenced by China's growth,developed countries'understanding of modernization is undergoing reflection and adjustment,while developing countries'emphasis on"another option"means possible opportunities for the Global South to enhance internal cohesion and strengthen mutual coordination.
