Whose Autonomy and Autonomy to Whom:Reconstructing Theory of State Autonomy with Modern Political World-System Theory
State autonomy has been a widely discussed concept in academic circles both domestically and internationally in recent decades, but there are three major blind spots:only discuss governmental autonomy and neglect the autonomy of the state in the world-system;neglect political party autonomy;there is little discussion on how to construct and maintain state and governmental autonomy.By applying Modern Political World-system Theory taking China as the method, that is,based on the internal and external situation of modern China and the fact that the CPC pursues national liberation and development, theory of state autonomy can be reconstructed:the majority of non-Western nations and countries have been incorporated into capitalist-imperialist world-system constructed by the West, losing national and state autonomy;capitalist and imperialist forces are ingrained within it,cultivating and naturalizing dependent societies, and undermining governmental autonomy;vanguard or quasi-vanguard political parties can build state and governmental autonomy through highly active party autonomy.
