The Poverty Philosophy in the Study of Global Order and Diverse Practises of Modernisation:A Perspective from the Global South
This paper explores China's role within the Global South and its impact on the global order through a long-term and wide-ranging analytical approach from a Global South perspective. The author argues that China's modernization should be understood within the context of the pursuit of democratization of international relations and the exploration of autonomous modernization paths in the African,Asian, and Latin American worlds, highlighting that the assertion"China is a natural member of the Global South"is not only a political affirmation of historical practice but also conveys China's fundamental ideals for the future global order. The paper contends that Western academia demonstrates a philosophical poverty in its discussions of the Global South, particularly in its understanding of the origins and future direction of the global order. The paper emphasizes that an understanding and imagination of the global order and its future development requires the restoration of the diversity and dialectical relationships inherent in the historical experiences of the Global South,to explore a new path of modernization based on genuine equality, democratization and diversity, thereby promoting the autonomous development of the Global South and constructing a truly equitable global order.
