The risks and safety of artificial intelligence are currently a globally debated topic.From the perspective of phenomenological philosophy,the following issues require urgent academic reflection,discussion,and response:(1)the possibility of"conscious"artificial intelligence,including;(2)the potential for conscious,autonomous,and free artificial consciousness;(3)whether the artificial creation or self-generation of consciousness is feasible;(4)the relationship between research in the mental sciences and natural sciences;(5)the fundamental differences between computation and thought;and(6)whether superintelligence can achieve"alignment"and the possibility of"toxin"-free superintelligence.
