"Macroeconomic Governance"is a macroeconomic practice and theory with Chinese characteristics,based on the economic development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,especially the exploration of development since the new era.Theoretically,it is fundamentally different from the mainstream views of Western macroeconomics,incorporating a wealth of scientific understandings of the regularity of macroeconomic governance and macro-policy regulation in socialism with Chinese characteristics.This lays the foundation for the formation of an independent knowledge system,disciplinary system,academic system,and discourse system of macroeconomics with Chinese characteristics.In practice,it has developed distinct Chinese characteristics and achieved remarkable results.In particular,China's macroeconomic governance approach and macroeconomic policies have adapted to economic development changes,especially the historical evolution of the primary contradiction and its main aspects in economic imbalances,continuously making corresponding adjustments.This has steadily improved the stability of China's economic growth and demonstrated strong ability to withstand adversity in face of complex environments characterized by bidirectional shocks from both the demand and supply sides,as well as overlapping domestic and international risks,thereby enhancing the quality of macroeconomic operations.
