Agricultural Green Development under Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Goals:Implications,Challenges and Pathways Selection
Carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals have brought new contents, requirements and challenges to agricultur-al green development.Analyzing the characteristics of agricultural green development at different stages can reveal the logical connection between agricultural green development and low-carbon development at theoretical and prac-tical levels.Given that carbon emissions reduction and carbon sequestration are the main focuses of agricultural green development under carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals,it is crucial to promote the coordinated develop-ment of low-carbon and green in key agricultural areas. In addition, agricultural green development under carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals is a systematic project that faces challenges such as inadequate collaboration among multiple objectives, unformed governance patterns among various subjects, low levels of low-carbon tech-nologies and imperfect support systems. Therefore, exploring the transition pathway for agricultural green develop-ment within the Social-Ecological System framework is essential in response to these challenges.
