The concept of new quality productive forces and the major task of developing them that General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward embody the profound theoretical views of the Communist Party of China in leading economic and social development and a wealth of practical experience.Northeast China has favorable advantages in science and education,talent and industrial base,which have laid a foundation for the development of new quality produc-tive forces.However,it also faces many problems and challenges.To promote comprehensive revitalization,it must speed up efforts to form and develop new quality productive forces.To achieve the revitalization,it must adopt spe-cific measures.Technological innovation resources need to be cultivated and focused on.Collaborative and efficient innovation system should be upgraded.Human resources need to be constantly improved.The comprehensive revi-talization should be supported with high-quality development of the population.It is necessary to formulate detailed plans for the development of strategic emerging industries and future-oriented industries.The Northeast also needs to build a modernized industrial system with its own characteristics and advantages and a modern infrastructure sys-tem,support the"hardware"requirements for developing new quality productive forces and promote new industria-lization.It should enhance the level of opening up domestically and internationally,create an open innovation envi-ronment for industrial and technological cooperation as well as a favorable environment for development so as to en-sure more new quality productive forces.
