Comparative Analysis of LNG Cold Energy Power Generation Mode
With the rapid development of China's LNG industry,cold energy power generation has become one of the key techniques for effective cold energy utilization from LNG gasification.In order to discuss the development direction and technical route of China's LNG cold energy power generation industry,the three aspects of LNG characteristics including cold energy power generation mode and technical route selection are discussed in detail.The advantages and disadvantages of organic Rankine cycle power generation mode are summarized,and the case analysis and comparison calculations are given.In general,there are significant differences in the available cold energy due to factors such as the origin,transportation,and exhaust gas pressure of LNG.Direct expansion approach and single-component intermediate for electricity production is the most mature,but mixed components are more effective.The technical route of mixed working fluid will be the most feasible technical route for the future development of China.
