Improvement of Hot-Tapping Technology for Non-Stop Gas Transporting Pipelines
Hot-tapping for non-stop gas transporting pipelines is a key technology for the maintenance and renovation of urban gas pipeline networks,which has advantages such as economic efficiency,safety and environmental protection.In hot-tapping construction for non-stop gas transporting pipelines,double-sided U-shaped hooks are often used to hook and remove pipeline blocks.However,in actual operation,there are phenomena such as U-shaped hook breakage and residual iron filings.Two equipment improvement measures are proposed through research:increasing the number of U-shaped hooks and adding pressure sensing devices.At the same time,the development direction of hot-tapping technology for non-stop gas transporting pipelines,such as automation and intelligence,is predicted.These improvements and development trends are expected to enhance the safety,efficiency,and reliability of hot-tapping operations for non-stop gas transporting pipelines,in order to meet the needs of future urban pipeline construction.
