Taking the damage to the gas pipeline pier at Zhoujinggang Bridge as an example,this paper delves into potential defects in pipeline weld joints through inspection and testing methods.In response to the condition of the pipeline weld joints after pier damage,finite element stress analysis and methods for safety assessment of welding defects are employed for a comprehensive evaluation.The aim is to promptly identify potential issues and conduct safety assessments to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.Additionally,the goal is to enhance the safety and reliability of related gas pipelines,providing strong technical support for the construction and maintenance of gas pipelines in our country.
