Comparison of Emissions and Economic Benefits of Different Heat Sources
Building heating is an important part of energy consumption.Hourly heating load for a typical residential home(120 m2)located in Beijing,Urumqi,Chongqing and Shanghai are calculated through dynamic loading software.By considering two different heating systems:air-source heat pumps(including a storage tank),gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boiler and their corresponding control strategies, energy consumption, operation costs, carbon emission and other hourly operation cost figure are obtained. The results show that air-source heat pumps can provide more favorable economic and carbon emission benefits. The operation cost and carbon emission of Chongqing are at a lower level.
