Preparation Technology of Granular Dust-Free and Easy Dispersible Copper Phthalocyanine Blue Pigment in Aqueous Phase
The traditional production process of dry powder or filter cake organic pigments consumes a lot of energy,and complex unit operation.The filter cake contains a lot of water.There is a lot of dust pollution during the crushing of dry filter cake.The morphology and performance of pigment usage urgently need improvement.The granular dust-free and easy dispersible copper phthalocyanine blue pigment was prepared by combining it with wax in the aqueous phase.It had the advantages of simple process,energy saving,less dust pollution and improvement in coloring power.The basic operation process was:add PE wax(polyethylene wax)into the suspension mixture of copper phthalocyanine blue(PB15:3)and water.By stirring and heating,PB15:3 was combined with the outer layer of melted 106 type PE wax,then a new formulation of copper phthalocyanine blue PPB15:3 with uniform and easily dispersed particles could be obtained.The coloring intensity of the as-prepared was 109%.The optimal conditions for preparing PPB15:3 are as follows:m(PB15:3):m(PE)=1:1.2,106 PE wax in 250～630 μm particle,temperature at 80℃for 20 min,200 r/min of stirring rate.
