Documentation of five new insect records from Shanghai
To investigate the species and distribution of insects in Shanghai,a large number of specimens were collected from 2022 to 2023 employing methods such as sweeping,light trapping and sifting.Among these,five species are identified as new additions to Shanghai's insect fauna:Anisostira rugipennis(Lewis,1896)(Tenebrionidae),Chlaenius touzalini(Andrewes,1920)(Carabidae),Scotinophara lurida(Burmeister,1834)(Pentatomidae),Planaphrodes nigricans(Matsumura,1912)(Cicadellidae)and Scythris sinensis(Felder & Rogenhofer,1875)(Scythrididae).
