Experimental study on thermal properties for geopolymer concrete under high temperature
The thermal properties of geopolymer concrete(GPC)under high temperature were the basis for studying high-temperature reactions of GPC structure in fires. However, there were no relevant literature reports both at home and abroad currently. In this paper, the volume specific heat(product of specific heat and density),thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity of C40 and C50 slag-fly ash based GPCs were measured by the transient plane heat source method at room temperature,100,200,300,400,500 and 600 ℃.Based on the measured data, relationship models between the thermal properties of slag-fly ash based GPC and high temperature were proposed. The important parameters for determining the temperature field distribution of GPC structures andfurther analyzing the mechanical response of structures under fires were provided by the research.
