This Yesearch first collects data from the 2019 China Household Finance Survey(CHFS),calculates the national level of consumption inequality based on the household Zenga ineguality index and analyzes the group dynamics and structural contributions;then,by matching and combining the digital inclusive finance index of prefecture-level cities,a one-way fixed effects model is constructed to analyze the impact mechanism of digital inclusive finance on consumption inequality among different income groups. The results show that:(1)in terms of regional and structural performance of consumption inequality, the eastern region has a higher degree of consumption inequality, while the northeastern region is relatively lower, and the inequality in consumption for living enjoyment is higher than that in developmental consumption;(2)there is an"inverted U-shaped"relationship between digital inclusive finance and consumption inequality, which is due to the digital divide that exists in the early stages of the development of digital inclusive finance;(3)the impact of digital inclusive finance on consumption inequality has a life cycle and regional heterogeneity. These findings are of great significance for studying measures to reduce consumption inequality and expand household consumption.
