摘要
为了在数字经济深入发展的时代里更好地实现"稳外资",对数字经济发展与外商直接投资(FDI)的区位选择之间的关系进行探讨显得愈发重要.在梳理分析数字经济发展与FDI区位选择之间内在机理联系的基础上,利用2011-2020年除港澳台藏外30个中国省级行政区面板数据,探讨数字经济发展对FDI流入的影响情况、区域差异及作用路径.结果表明:数字经济发展能够较为显著地推动FDI流入,且该结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后依然成立;数字经济发展对FDI流入的影响因地而异、因条件而异,具体而言,在东部地带或是数字经济发展情况较好的地区,数字经济发展对FDI流入的推动作用能够得到更为充分的发挥;数字经济发展能够通过推动金融发展、刺激创业活力以及改善投资环境等方式推动FDI流入.
Abstract
In order to better achieve"stabilizing foreign investment"in the era of in-depth development of the digital economy,it is increasingly important to explore the relationship between the development of the digital economy and the location choice of foreign direct investment(FDI).Based on the analysis of the internal mechanism between the two,using the panel data of 30 provincial-level administrative regions in China except Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan,and Tibet from 2011 to 2020,this paper discusses the impact of the development of the digital economy on FDI inflows,regional differences,and the path of action.The results indicate that:(1)The development of the digital economy can significantly promote FDI inflow,and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.(2)The impact of digital economy development on FDI inflows varies by regions and conditions;specifically,in the eastern region or in areas with better digital economy development,the role of the development of the digital economy in promoting FDI inflows can be more fully exploited.(3)The development of the digital economy can promote FDI inflows by promoting financial development,stimulating entrepreneurial vitality and improving the investment environment,etc.
