Digital economy empowers consumption to enhance resilience,providing a new perspective for promoting high-quality consumption development.This paper aims to explore the impact of digital economy on household consumption resilience,and establishes the theoretical logic of shaping household consumption resilience by digital economy,taking the change of income structure,liquidity constraint and consumption scenario expansion as the link points.The research shows that the digital economy has greatly improved household consumption resilience,and the results remain significant after a series of robustness tests,such as instrumental variable endogenous correction,omitted variable sensitivity analysis,exclusion of concurrent policy effects,and the use of quasi-natural experiments.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the enhancement effect is more significant in the areas west of the Hu Huanyong Line and along the line,as well as in historical cities and towns.The mechanism test verifies that the digital economy improves household consumption resilience by improving the income structure,easing liquidity constraints,and expanding consumption scenarios.The conclusions of the study provide useful references for digital economy to play an important role in shaping household consumption resilience and promoting the high-quality development of consumption.
