Analysis and Research on the Influence of Loading Rate on Yield Strength in Plastic Materials Stretching
By conducting tensile tests on plastic materials at different loading rates at room temperature, the relationship between loading rate and material yield strength is analyzed.Curve fitting is performed using the least squares method, exponential function fitting, logarithmic function fitting, power function fitting, and Lagrange interpolation fitting to determine the relationship between loading rate and material yield strength. The results of curve fitting show that the yield strength increases with the increase in loading rate. The yield strength increases from a minimum value of 283.67 KPa to 303 KPa,with the increase accounting for 6.38%to 6.81%of the overall yield strength. The sixth-order curve fitting graph best reflects the relationship between yield strength and loading rate.
