Pathways for Constructing Food Safety and Health Education for University Students
Food safety is a critical component of building a healthy China.In the context of adhering to the overall national security concept and exploring andpracticing the Chinese characteristic national security path,strengthening food safety risk management and enhancing food safety and health education are undoubtedly important tasks.Food safety and health education for university students is a significant part of this.Currently,such education for university students is often superficial,with arbitrary content,and is in an awkward position of being dispensable,resulting in unsatisfactory outcomes.Due to the lack of legal norms and educational regulations,the main entities responsible for university students'food safety and health education are unclear,and their duties are not well-defined.University administrators,considering the allocation of educational resources,often do not give the necessaray attention to this aspect,leading to issues such as a lack of systematic approach,insufficient targeting,and inadequate initiative.Therefore,it is essential to clearly define the content of food safety and health education for university students,and scientifically explore the responsibility mechanisms,educational mechanisms,and methods to form an effective model of food safety and health education for university students.
