An examination of the sign language style of 36 Chinese idioms containing negative adverbs such as"bu","mo",and"wu"in the National Universal Sign Language Dictionary reveals that the translation of the concept of sign language negation pursues concise and accurate expression,with flexible and diverse ways of expression.From the perspective of word formation,there are five corresponding relationships between gesture actions and Chinese idiom morphemes.From a phonological perspective,there are five types of negative expression in sign language play.The overall integration of negative meaning in sign language idioms is mainly manifested in three ways.Non manual features play an important auxiliary semantic role in the translation of Chinese idiom sign language.
