Study on a Titanium Yellow Powder Salt Treatment and Calcination Process
With specialized titanium dioxide(ZDT series products)produced by hydrochloric acid method as raw material,and salt treatment and calcination parameters were explored through experiments,and the optimized and most economical salt treatment formula was determined.The result showed that when the addition amount of ZnO is 1.5%,the addition amount of Sb2O3 is 0.5%,crude titanium yellow powder can be obtained after calcination at the maximum temperature of 650℃for 60 minutes according to the heating curve.After grinding,airflow crushing,and organic coating,titanium yellow powder products with excellent dispersibility and good covering power are obtained.The appearance color can also meet the requirement of industrial paint and heavy-duty anti-corrosion paint customers.
