Discussion on the regional selection of traceable herbal decoction pieces of raw materials planting base based on the analysis of two types of geographical indications
The basis for the implementation of traceable decoction pieces is the stable source and controllable quality of raw materials,and the selection of suitable areas to build medicinal material bases and carry out standardized production is an effective means to meet the above requirements.National geographical indications and agricultural product geographical indications are utilized to characterize the features or quality of a product,typically associated with a specific region,which aligns well with the selection of high-quality medicinal material bases.This study summarized information on the registration of two geographical indications based on 23 traceable decoction pieces that have been distributed in relevant medical institutions in Shanghai,and conducted a regional comparative analysis based on the specific requirements of traceable decoction pieces for the origin of medicinal materials,so as to establish the regional scope of distinguished products that meet the traceability standards,and provide reference for relevant enterprises to choose the construction of the planting base of traceable decoction pieces of raw materials.
