Application of uterine artery ligation combined with abdominal aortic balloon block in caesarean section for placenta accreta spectrum disorders
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of uterine artery ligation combined with abdominal aortic balloon block in cesarean section for placenta accreta spectrum disorders(PAS).Methods:Eighty-three cases of cesarean delivery for PAS were randomly divided into an observation group(n=42)and a control group(n=41).The control group was given abdominal aortic balloon block cesarean section, and the observation group was given uterine artery ligation combined with abdominal aortic balloon block cesarean section.Surgery-related indexes and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time was longer, the total volumes of the intraoperative bleeding and 24-hour postoperative bleeding were less and the postoperative hemoglobin difference was smaller(all P<0.05),and the incidence of complication was lower(4.76%vs 19.51%,χ2=4.260,P=0.028)in the observation group than the control group. Conclusion:Uterine artery ligation combined with abdominal aortic balloon obstruction is of benefit to reducing intraoperative and postoperative hemorrhage in women undergoing cesarean section for PAS and the incidence of complications such as post-partum hemorrhage.
