Analysis of factors affecting ureteral stent syndrome after minimally invasive surgery in patients with upper urinary tract stones
Objective:To investigate the current situation of ureteral stent syndrome(USS)and its influencing factors in patients with upper urinary tract stones after minimally invasive surgery, and to provide a reference basis for the improvement of their postoperative quality of life. Methods:Two hundred and fifty-five patients with upper urinary tract stones were selected for this study. The patients were surveyed using the Chinese version of the ureteral stent-related symptom questionnaire(USSQ)on the day of removal of the double J tube, and the factors associated with USS were explored by univariate and multiple linear regression analysis. Results:The total USSQ score was 86.19±16.98 in the patients.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, double J-tube diameter, whether the double J-tube was over the bladder midline and daily water intake were independent influencing factors for USS(P<0.05).Conclusion:Rational interventions should be taken in clinical practice for these influencing factors so as to alleviate the severity of USS and improve the quality of their life.
