Research progress of balance dysfunction in elderly patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is an independent risk factor for the development of balance dysfunction in elderly diabetic patients,and balance dysfunction can increase the risk of falls.This study reviews the current status,mechanisms,influencing factors,hazards and exercise interventions of balance dysfunction in elderly patients with DPN,with the aim of providing a reference for clinical practice.
