Clinical pharmacists participate in the successful treatment of a case of Ureaplasma ulalyticum infection in an ultra-preterm infant
Objective:To analyze the treatment process of clinical pharmacists involved in the successful treatment of a child with Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU)infection,so as to provide experience for optimizing the treatment of this disease.Methods:The clinical pharmacists participated in the formulation of anti-infection rigements by evaluating the risks and benefits of azithromycin for neonatal UU infection.Results:Azithromycin could be used for the treatment of UU infection in neonates.Conclusion:Clinical pharmacists can fully improve the clinical treatment outcomes and the safety and effectiveness of drug treatments by utilizing their pharmaceutical expertise to assist doctors in formulating drug use plans and implementing medication guidance.
